Aérospatiale SA330 Puma
The Puma first flew in 1965 and entered service with the Royal Air Force in January 1971 at RAF Odiham with the designation of Puma HC Mk I, used in the transport role. The helicopter was jointly manufactured by Aérospatiale and Westland Helicopters. The Puma has seen service across the world with the RAF; West Germany, Belize, Northern Ireland, Venezuela and the Middle East in combat and in humanitarian operations. In 2012 the Puma HC Mk 2 entered service with many improvements including two Turbomeca Makila engines, a new defensive aids suite and the ability to carry a greater payload. The RAF Puma fleet will remain in service until 2025.

Stanford-Tuck joined the Royal Air Force in 1935, with his first experience of combat over Dunkirk during the Battle of France. As a Squadron Leader he commanded a squadron of Hurricanes that participated in sorties over northern France during the early part of the war. He was shot down in 1942 and was taken prisoner. This design celebrates Tuck as a Fighter Ace with 29 destroyed to his name, but he was part of the RAF that was served by many men and women who were all heroes.

This graphic tshirt displays roundels used by RN Fleet Air Arm, Army Air Corps and the Royal Air Force through the ages. Initially the Union Flag was painted on early combat aircraft, but roundels were used to avoid confusion with the German Iron Cross. British Aerospace Sea Harrier
The first squadron to operate the Sea Harrier was 800 NAS introduced on HMS Invincible, but was moved to HMS Hermes. The Sea Harrier played a distinctive role in the Falklands War of early 1982. Successes were 20 Argentine aircraft shot down with two losses from ground fire and four to accidents. Success can be attributed to the Sea Harrier using the latest AIM-9L Sidewinder missiles and the Blue Fox radar. The Sea Harrier was withdrawn from service in 2006 with the planned replacement being the F35 Lightning II some years later.
