Sea Harrier FRS.1
To mark 40 years since the end of hostilities in the Falkland Islands this collection depicts 16 aircraft that took part in Operation Corporate. Many types were involved, from logistical tasks to ground attack. During the conflict the Sea Harrier flew 1435 sorties from HMS Hermes and Invincible.

Hawker Sea Hawk
The Sea Hawk first flew in 1951 and entered service with the Fleet Air Arm with 806 Squadron at Brawdy before operating from HMS Eagle. The Sea Hawk saw combat service during the Suez Crisis of 1956. Six Sea Hawk squadrons took part, flying from HMS Eagle, Albion and Bulwark, and was tasked in the ground attack role. The Sea Hawk last saw service in 1960, being replaced by the Supermarine Scimitar and de Havilland Sea Vixen.

This helicopter was built by Westland under licence from American Sikorsky. The Sea King entered service in 1969 and has worked hard both for the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy in many roles including anti-submarine, troop transport and Search and Rescue.

de Havilland DH. 110 Sea Vixen
The Sea Vixen was first developed in the 1940s, entering service with the Fleet Air Arm in 1959 in the fleet air defence role. The Sea Vixen was the first two-seat British aircraft to achieve supersonic speed in a dive. The type was used in anger over Tanganyika, Yemen and the Aden Emergency. In 1972 the Phantom replaced the Sea Vixen.

Avro Shackleton AEW II
The MR 2s replaced the Fairey Gannet in 1972 and was then re-designated as the AEW II with the installation of the AN/APS-20 radar. The Shackleton was operated by No. 8 Squadron, based at RAF Lossiemouth. The 12 AEWs were given names from the Magic Roundabout and The Herbs TV series. The Nimrod AEW3 was to replace the Shackleton in 1991, but when the project was cancelled the Boeing E-3D Sentry was ordered.

The Armstrong Whitworth Siskin entered service with the Royal Air Force in 1924 as a single seat fighter bi-plane. No.41 Squadron RAF operated the Siskin from RAF Northolt. The Royal Canadian Air Force also ordered the Siskin. Eventually the Bristol Bulldog replaced the Siskin.

Sopwith Aviation Company
The Sopwith Aviation Company was formed in 1912 by Thomas Octave Murdoch Sopwith. Tommy was a wealthy sportsman interested in aviation, yachting and motor racing. The business started at Brooklands, moved to Canbury Park Road then settled in Kingston. After World War I Sopwith was liquidated and Tommy Sopwith formed HG Hawker Engineering with Harry Hawker, Fred Sigrist and Bill Eyre. Sopwith produced many aircraft types including the Camel, Dove, Pup and Swallow.

The Space Shuttle Program ran from 1972 to 2011 with the first crewed flight in 1981 (STS-1). The Program was carried out by NASA with the plan to operate a reusable spacecraft. With over 150 launches, the Space Shuttle delivered payloads to the ISS, recovered satellites and serviced the Hubble Telescope. The last flight (STS-135) was on 21 July 2011.

The Spitfire is a must for the flyingraphics collection. The shirt displays the heritage of the Spitfire starting with the Supermarine S.5 designed by R.J. Mitchell to compete for the Schneider Trophy in 1927. The main illustration shows the MK I type 300 and the MK XIV type 379 in side elevation.
