Product description

No. IX Squadron

Number 9 Squadron is the oldest bomber squadron, as part of the RFC, formed in 1914. During the Second World War the squadron specialised in precision bombing with the Lancaster. Alongside 617, No.9 Squadron was responsible for the sinking of the Tirpitz during Operation Catechism. During the Cold War the squadron operated the Vulcan, moving onto being the first squadron to operate the Tornado GR.1. As the Tornado retired, No.9 was re-equipped with the Typhoon FGR.4  This design has been given a deliberate aged and 'weathered' appearance.

T-shirts are made from 100% pre-shrunk ringspun cotton. A comfortable shirt to wear at 185gsm with tubular short sleeves.
