Bear Hunter - Sweat Shirt

Bear Hunter
This Tshirt has a striking design that captures the work of RAF Quick Reaction Alert Squadrons during the dark days of the Cold War. Using GCI (Ground Controlled Interception) Phantoms and Lightnings were scrambled to intercept Russian aircraft 'wandering' into UK airspace. The Tupolev Tu-95's or Bear's were often confronted by armed RAF fighters firing passive homing missiles. GCI has since been replaced with Airborne Early Warning and Control systems. These AEW aircraft patrol our UK skies as well as in overseas conflicts. The RAF Typhoon F2 now operates out of Lossiemouth and Coningsby still in the QRA - 'Bear Hunting' role.
Sweat Shirts are made from 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester. Comfortable to wear at 280gsm with ribbed collar, cuffs and hem. Check the sizing page as this item can be slightly different than other brands.
